Your college studies equate to approximately two years (i.e. 8 full course equivalents) of study at Lakehead.

To receive an offer of admission to the Honours Bachelor of Science (Computer Science major) program, you must complete Georgian College's two-year Computer Programming Diploma program with an overall average of at least 70%. In addition, you must satisfy the following requirements:

• Georgian College's course COMP 2006, and
  • If you did not complete COMP 2006, you may be required to complete makeup courses as part of your degree program. 
• Ontario high school's Grade 12 University-level Advanced Functions (MHF4U), or equivalent, with a minimum grade of 60%.
  • Note: Georgian College's MATH 1018 (Introduction to Technical Mathematics) is equivalent to MHF4U.

Prior to entering the program, you will need to complete Mathematics 1271 - Discrete Mathematics and Computer Science 2412 - Data Structures during the spring/summer terms.
