*Additional notes: Students who have completed Fleming College's Indigenous Perspectives Designation (IPD) are also eligible to receive transfer credit for INDG 1002H - Foundations of Modern Indigenous Life. Students must notify admissions@trentu.ca that they have completed the IPD in order to receive the additional credit.
Students who began studies in the Geological Technician Diploma program prior to Fall 2019 are encouraged to contact Trent University for information about transfer credits received as part of this pathway.

To qualify for this agreement, students must have:
- successfully completed Fleming College’s Geological Technician Co-op Diploma;
- a minimum overall average of 75%
Environmental Geoscience is a competitive entry program. As a result, meeting the terms of the articulation agreement does not guarantee admission to the program.

*Important notes: Asterisked courses may only be counted once toward program requirements. Students are encouraged to carefully plan when selecting courses to ensure they acquire prerequisites, particularly for ERSC 2240H, CHEM-ERSC 3600H, and GEOG 4080H.
Furthermore, students are strongly encouraged to take additional courses listed in category B beyond the program requirements to extend their Geoscience background.

The agreement will be reviewed annually, or sooner in the event of major curriculum changes in either partner’s programs. This agreement may be terminated by either party. In this case, notice of one year is required. In the event of termination of the agreement, every effort will be made to ensure that students currently enrolled in the program will not be affected.
