​​Students beginning studies in the Computer Engineering Technology Advanced Diploma program since Fall 2018 will receive the following 10.0 transfer credits:

• 0.5 COIS 1010H - The Digital World
• 0.5 COIS 1020H - Programming for Computer Science
• 0.5 COIS 2300H - Computer Organization
• 0.5 COIS 2320H - Digital Logic
• 0.5 COIS 3400H - Database Management System
• 1.5 unassigned Computer Science credits at the 3000 level
• 0.5 unassigned Computer Science credits at the 4000 level
• 0.5 unassigned Physics credits at the 1000 level
• 2.0 unassigned Science credits at the 1000 level
• 3.0 unassigned Science credits at the 2000 level

Students who began studies in the Computer Engineering Advanced Diploma program prior to Fall 2018 are encouraged to contact Trent University for information about transfer credits received as part of this pathway.

To qualify for this agreement, students must have:
- successfully completed Fleming College's Computer Engineering Technology Advanced Diploma program;
- a minimum overall average of 75%.

Conditions de résidence dans le programme

Students must complete the following 10.0 credits to fulfill requirements for the Computer Science degree:

• 0.5 COIS 2020H - Data Structures and Algorithm
• 0.5 COIS 2240H - Software Design and Modelling
• 0.5 COIS 3020H - Data Structures and Algorithm
• 0.5 COIS 3380H - Systems Programming in C
• 0.5 MATH 1350H - Linear Algebra I: Matrix Algebra
• 0.5 MATH 1550H - Probability I: Introduction to Probability
• 0.5 MATH 2600H - Discrete Structures
• 0.5 of the following:
  • 0.5 MATH 1005H - Applied Calculus
  • 0.5 MATH 1110H - Calculus I: Limits, Derivatives and Integrals
• 1.0 Computer Science credit at the 3000 level or above
• 1.5 Computer Science credits at the 4000 level
• 1.5 Computer Science credits in addition to the above
• 0.5 credit from the Approved Indigenous Course List
• 1.0 credit at the 3000 level or beyond
• 0.5 additional credits

*NOTE: Students in the degree completion program will be allowed to enroll concurrently in COIS 2020H, COIS 2240H, and any course for which COIS 2020H, COIS 2240H and/or 2300H is a prerequisite (e.g. COIS 3030H, COIS 3040H, COIS 3320H).

The agreement will be reviewed annually, or sooner in the event of major curriculum changes in either partner’s programs. This agreement may be terminated by either party. In this case, notice of one year is required. In the event of termination of the agreement, every effort will be made to ensure that students currently enrolled in the program will not be affected.
