The Child and Youth Care program at George Brown College 3 year Ontario College Advanced Diploma program that has received accreditation from the Child and Youth Care Educational Accreditation Board of Canada.  Graduates from any university degree may be eligible to admission to semester four of the Child and Youth Care program.    This pathway is a 1 year, 3 consecutive semester program.  Education or work in the field may qualify the student for further transfer credits and PLAR opportunities, however, in order to graduate, a total of 25% of the program must be completed at George Brown College.  Applicants must submit an official transcript as proof of graduation.  Apply to Child and Youth Care C153 at Ontario Colleges.

Students who successfully complete a 2 year Early Childhood Education Diploma program with a GPA of 65% or higher may be considered for admission into the 4th semester of the Honours Bachelor of Child Development Degree in the winter (Newnham Campus) or fall term (Newnham or King Campus). 

How to apply: 

Domestic students will be required to submit an application via Ontario Colleges Application Service (OCAS) and select “degree completion” as their entry semester.  Official transcripts showing diploma completion and a final program GPA must be submitted.
