Personal Support Worker program applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Completion of a recognized Ontario Personal Support Worker Certificate.
• Minimum average of 65% in all PSW certificate courses.

If your credential is not on the above list, contact the Admissions office to determine eligibility. 

Upon successful completion of the Personal Support Worker Bridging to Practical Nursing program, students may progress into the 2nd semester of the Ontario College Diploma in Practical Nursing program. Students are required to take Introduction to Indigenous Studies (INDG49) as their semester 2 general elective course. We have limited seats reserved for successful bridging students each semester. Completion of the Bridging Program does not guarantee entrance into the Practical Nursing Program.

Completion of the Bridging Program does not guarantee entrance into the Practical Nursing Program. There will be a minimum of one semester between your completion of the bridging program and consideration of your application into the second semester of the Practical Nursing Program.

• Bridged Nursing Theory (NRSG250) must be taken in the first semester you are enrolled in the program.
• Bridge PSW to PN: Field Preparation for PSW Bridging to PN (NRSG193) must be taken last.

2.3 - To be eligible to graduate from all certificate and diploma programs offered by the College, a student must successfully complete all courses within a program either by evaluation, exemption or PLAR. A minimum of 25% of the required program course load through study with Fleming College is necessary.
