Students who began studies in the Forestry Technician Conservation Diploma program prior to Fall 2023 are encouraged to contact Trent University about the transfer credits received as part of this pathway.

- successfully completed Sault College’s Forestry Technician - Conservation Diploma program;
- a minimum overall average of 75%.

Students are required to complete the following 13.0 credits to fulfill requirements Environmental and Resource Science degree:
- 0.5 ERSC 2080H - Natural Science Statistics
- 0.5 ERSC 2220H - Environmental Assessment: Chemical and Laboratory Methods
- 0.5 ERSC 2230H - Environmental Assessment: Sampling and Analysis
- 0.5 ERSC 2240H - Ecological Assessment for Natural Resource Management
- 0.5 ERSC 3000H - Environmental Professional Practice
- 2.0 Environmental and Resource Science credits, Category A
- 0.5 Environmental and Resource Science/Studies credits, Category D
- 1.0 Environmental and Resource Science/Studies credits at the 3000 level or above in addition to the above
- 1.0 Math credit
- 0.5 credit from the Approved Indigenous Course List
- 5.5 additional credits
*Additional notes: Courses without specified year levels must include at least 3.0 credits from the 3000 and/or 4000 level, and no more than 5.0 credits from the 1000 level. Choice credits must also include 4.5 science credits to obtain a Bachelor of Science (Honours).

The agreement will be reviewed annually, or sooner in the event of major curriculum changes in either partner’s programs. This agreement may be terminated by either party. In this case, notice of one year is required. In the event of termination of the agreement, every effort will be made to ensure that students currently enrolled in the program will not be affected.
