*Additional notes: Students who have completed Fleming College's Indigenous Perspectives Designation (IPD) are also eligible to receive transfer credit for INDG 1002H - Foundations of Modern Indigenous Life. Students must notify admissions@trentu.ca that they have completed the IPD in order to receive the additional credit. 

Students who began studies in the Forestry Technician Diploma program prior to Fall 2018 are encouraged to contact Trent University for information about transfer credits received as part of this pathway.

- successfully completed Fleming College’s Forestry Technician Diploma; and
- a minimum overall average of 75%

Students must complete the following 13.0 credits to fulfill requirements for Environmental and Resource Science degree:

  • 0.5 ERSC 2080H - Natural Science Statistics 
  • 0.5 ERSC 2220H - Environmental Assessment: Chemical and Laboratory Methods
  • 0.5 ERSC 2230H - Environmental Assessment: Sampling and Analysis
  • 0.5 ERST 3000H - Environmental Professional Practice
  • 2.5 additional ERSC credits from Category A 
  • 0.5 additional ERSC/T credits from Category B
  • 0.5 additional ERST credits from Category C
  • 0.5 ERSC/T credits from Category D 
  • 1.0 ERSC/T credit at the 3000 level or beyond in addition to the above
  • 1.0 Math credit
  • 5.0 additional credits

*NOTE: Credits without specified year levels must include at least 3.0 credits at the 3000 or 4000 level.

This agreement is subject to review whenever either party makes curricular changes that impact the agreement. When a change occurs, the program departments will notify their respective articulation designates so that the agreement can be updated. Articulation designates at each institution will review the agreement annually to ensure it is current. This agreement may be terminated by either party. In this case, notice of one year is required. In the event of termination of the agreement, every effort will be made to ensure that students currently enrolled in the program will not be affected.
