- successfully completed Durham College's Environmental Technology Advanced Diploma program;
- a minimum overall average of 75%.

Students must complete the following 10.0 credits to fulfill requirements for the Environmental and Resource Science degree:
- 0.5 ERSC 2080H - Natural Science Statistics
- 0.5 ERST 3000H - Environmental Professional Practice
- 3.0 ERSC credits from Category A
- 1.0 ERSC/T credit from Category B
- 0.5 ERSC/T credits from Category D
- 4.5 elective credits
Additional notes: For credits without specified year levels, at least 4.0 must be completed at the 3000 or 4000 level, and no more than 3.5 are permitted at the 1000 level. Choice credits must also include at least 1.5 science credits, including at least 0.5 Math credit.
The above requirements are specified for the Bachelor of Science (Honours) program. Transfer students may also pursue a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Environmental and Resource Studies, a Bachelor of Science (Honours) Joint-Major degree, or a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Joint-Major degree. Students are referred to the academic calendar and/or departmental advisor to confirm degree completion requirements.

The agreement will be reviewed annually, or sooner in the event of major curriculum changes in either partner’s programs. This agreement may be terminated by either party. In this case, notice of one year is required. In the event of termination of the agreement, every effort will be made to ensure that students currently enrolled in the program will not be affected.
