Students beginning studies in the Pre-Health Sciences Pathway to Advanced Diplomas and Degrees Certificate program since Fall 2018 will receive the following 3.5 transfer credits:
- 0.5 BIOL 1050H - Human Anatomy
- 0.5 CHEM 1000H - Introduction to Chemistry I
- 0.5 CHEM 1010H - Introduction to Chemistry II
- 0.5 MATH 1051H - Non-Calculus Statistics I: Elementary Probability and Statistics
- 0.5 PIHL 1200H - Critical Thinking or 0.5 PHYS 1060H - Physics for Life Science
- 0.5 WRIT 1001H - Write in Time
- 0.5 unassigned Arts credit at the 1000 level
Transfer credits for students beginning studies in the Pre-Health Sciences Pathway to Advanced Diplomas and Degrees Certificate program prior to Fall 2018 will be awarded on a course-by-course basis.
*Additional notes: Students completing CRIT 1700 - Critical Thinking Skills at Durham College will receive PHIL 1200 - Critical Thinking as part of the transfer credit block, while students completing PHYS 1700 - Pre-Health Physics will receive PHYS 1060H - Physics for Life Science.
Requirements
To qualify for this agreement, students must have:
- successfully completed Durham College’s Pre-Health Sciences Pathway to Advanced Diplomas and Degrees program;
- a minimum overall average of 75%.
*Additional notes: Some programs may require a higher average for entry. Additionally, limited enrolment programs may have a competitive average. Please contact Trent University for more detailed information about your selected program.

The agreement will be reviewed annually, or sooner in the event of major curriculum changes in either partner’s programs. This agreement may be terminated by either party. In this case, notice of one year is required. In the event of termination of the agreement, every effort will be made to ensure that students currently enrolled in the program will not be affected.
