  • Students who have completed the Indigenous Perspectives Designation (IPD) at Fleming are eligible to receive transfer credit for INDG 1002H - Foundations of Modern Life. Students must notify admissions@trentu.ca of IPD completion to have the additional transfer credit added to the student record.

Transfer credits for students beginning studies in the Child and Youth care program prior to Fall 2016 will be awarded on a course-by-course basis.

- successfully completed Fleming College's Child and Youth Care Advanced Diploma program;
- a minimum overall average of 75%.

  • 0.5 SOCI 1001H - Introduction to Sociology I: Critical Foundations
  • 0.5 PSYC 1020H - Introduction to Psychology Part 1: Experimental and Biological Bases of
    Behaviour or 0.5 PSYC 1030H - Introduction to Psychology Part 2: Social and Personality Perspectives
  • 2.0 Child and Youth Studies credits at the 3000 level in addition to the above
  • 0.5 Child and Youth Studies credit at the 4000 level
  • 3.0 credits at the 3000 level or above
  • 4.0 additional credits with a maximum of 1.0 credit at the 1000 level

Cancellation Policy

The agreement will be reviewed every three years, or sooner in the event of major curriculum changes in either partner’s programs. This agreement may be terminated by either party. In this case, notice of one year is required. In the event of termination of the agreement, every effort will be made to ensure that students currently enrolled in the program will not be affected.
