Applicants who have successfully completed a Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field from an accrediated institution or meet the requirements to be a Regsitered Early Childhood Educator in Ontaro with a minimum 65% or 2.5 GPA average are eligible to receive advanced standing credit in Fanshawe's Bachelor of Early Childhood Leadership (ECL) program.
The following courses are to be completed by ECE diploma graduates in advance of entering Year 3 of the ECL degree. Successful completion of these four courses allows ECE graduates direct entry into Year 3 of the degree.
Classes will be held Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (between 4 and 8 p.m.)
1. ECED-7001 Evidence-based practice in Early Childhood Programs
2. ECED-7002 Introduction to Early Childhod Leadership
3. ECED-7003 Applied Research Methods
4. COMM-7008 Composition and Rhetoric

Cancellation Policy
Fanshawe College has been granted consent by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities to offer this applied degree program for a seven-year term starting June 2010. The College shall ensure that all students admitted to the abover-named program during the period of consent will have the opportnity to complete the program within a reasonable time frame.
