Program Transfer Search

Students beginning studies in the General Arts and Science program as of September 2020 will receive the following 5.0 transfer credits:

• 0.5 PHIL 1200H - Critical Thinking
• 0.5 PSYC 1020H - Introduction to Psychology Part 1: Experimental and Biological Bases of Behaviour
• 0.5 PSYC 1030H - Introduction to Psychology Part 2: Social and Personality Perspectives 
• 0.5 SOCI 1001H - Introduction to Sociology I: Critical Foundations
• 0.5 SOCI 1002H - Introduction to Sociology II: Exploring Social Life 
• 0.5 WRIT 1001H - Write in Time
• 0.5 unassigned Political Studies credit at the 1000 level
• 1.0 unassigned Arts credit at the 1000 level
• 0.5 unassigned Science credit at the 1000 level

Students who began studies in the General Arts and Science program prior to Fall 2020 are encouraged to contact Trent University for information about transfer credits received as part of this pathway.

To qualify for this agreement, students must have:
- successfully completed Durham College's General Arts and Science University Transfer program;
- a minimum overall average of 70%;
- no less than 65% in each of the required courses.

The agreement will be reviewed annually, or sooner in the event of major curriculum changes in either partner’s programs. This agreement may be terminated by either party. In this case, notice of one year is required. In the event of termination of the agreement, every effort will be made to ensure that students currently enrolled in the program will not be affected.
