Program Residency Requirement

Students must complete the following 10.0 credits to fulfill requirements for the Business Administration degree with a Specialization in Human Resource Management:

  • 0.5 ADMN 1221H - Financial Accounting*
  • 0.5 ADMN 2510H - Organization Theory
  • 0.5 ADMN 3300H - Personal Ethics in Organizations and Business 
  • 0.5 ADMN 3500H - Economics of Industrial Relations*
  • 0.5 ADMN 4030H - Strategic Management
  • 0.5 ADMN 4101H - Thinking About Management
  • 0.5 ECON 1250H - Introduction to Mathematics for Economics and Management 
  • 6.5 additional credits, including:
    • no more than 4.0 credits at the 1000 level;
    • at least 0.5 credit from the Approved Indigenous Course List.

*Additional notes: Courses marked with an asterisk (*) are required for the Specialization in Human Resource Management. To achieve the Specialization, students must complete the remaining credits with a minimum 65% grade in each and an overall average of at least 70%. Additional requirements may apply for students interested in pursuing the CHRP Designation. Students are referred to the School of Business for more information.

Cancellation Policy

The agreement will be reviewed annually, or sooner in the event of major curriculum changes in either partner’s programs. This agreement may be terminated by either party. In this case, notice of one year is required. In the event of termination of the agreement, every effort will be made to ensure that students currently enrolled in the program will not be affected.
