Program Transfer Search

Students beginning studies in the Chemical Lab Technician program since Fall 2023 will receive the following 5.0 transfer credits: 

• 0.5 CHEM 1000H – Introductory Chemistry I 
• 0.5 CHEM 1010H – Introductory Chemistry II 
• 0.5 CHEM 2410H – Analytical Chemistry I 
• 0.5 CHEM 2420H – Analytical Chemistry II 
• 0.5 INDG 1001H - The Foundation for Reconciliation 
• 0.5 unassigned Mathematics credit at the 1000 level 
• 1.5 unassigned Arts credits at the 1000 level 
• 0.5 unassigned Science credit at the 1000 level

Transfer credits for students who began studies in the Chemical Lab Technician program prior to Fall 2023 will be awarded on a course-by-course basis.

To qualify for the block of transfer credits, students must have:

• Successfully completed Durham College’s Chemical Lab Technician Diploma;
• A minimum overall average of 75%.

Bridging

Students pursuing majors for which introductory credits are not provided through the transfer credit block may be encouraged to complete courses in the term prior to entering Trent full-time. Consultation with an academic advisor is strongly encouraged. (http://trentu.ca/advising).
